Don’t stress, Phil. Might I recommend you place a call to 1-800-FLOWERS & Sheri’s Berries? You can’t go wrong with roses & chocolate-covered strawberries. She’ll think you’re the most romatic guy in the world.

Get her some Country music CD’s or mp3’s. She loves those.

Get together with Sluggo and get both girls something. Fritzie will see it as a commitment gesture – Phil wants BOTH his girls, and Sluggo will score points with Nancy.

My lady lives a long ways away from me – I’m mailing the card today!

Phil just say forget it and don’t buy into the hype that is Valentine’s day.

What the heck are you waiting for?!!! I agree with Kara and get together with Fritzi, Nancy and Sluggo for a nice dinner then go back to her house for a rom com movie. Huge points. As for david_42, I say, Boo to You. I was born on Valentine’s Day. So I can say that cupid missed you!

Happy V-Week to you, guy, especially V-Day.

My wife had a question for me this morning: “Is there anything women are supposed to buy men for Valentine’s Day?” Good question. Maybe beer for some guys, but it never enters the equation. All the ads are geared to prod and shame men into buying women stuff. Isn’t Valentine’s Day supposed to be a “shared experience?” What’s special about a man buying a woman dinner? Like that never happens. What practical thing can you really DO with a diamond? Cut glass?

How about this?

I look in your eyes and see the reflection of the moon.My eyes widen and my head starts to swoon.I hear a loud thumping and realize it’s my heart.My heart says I love you and never want to part.

That might do it for Fritzi.
