“If I can’t fail enough with my current policies, I will force even more on you!”.Get ready for Executive order #478: The government will take 100% of your paycheck and decide what you should and shouldn’t buy with it.

It isn’t the number that counts… It’s the content that does.

I see that Democrat Harry Truman tops the list when it comes to abuse of power.

Number of executive orders normalized to be number per day — so it corrects for the number of years in office: Obama has issued fewer than any president for over a century.http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2013/01/obama-executive-orders-guns.html

there are legal and proper executive orders, that comply with laws passed by Congress.-But Obama has written executive orders that are creating new laws or changing laws on the books, even the laws on Obamacare passed in early 2010…..change after change.-I think Clinton wrote executive orders to have agencies carry out actions to comply with treaty laws that the Senate refused to approve! Obama is now using EPA to carry out Global Warming international law that has never been approved by the US Senate, isn’t that true? That is circumventing both Congress and the Constitution.

Past experience with the depth of Morin’s insight suggests we go back and check on how intrusive other Presidents’ exec orders were on people’s freedoms; were they in time of war as it was for Bush 43; did they directly conflict with what what Congress would legislate or the people would want? Just a thought. And did the other Presidents make decisions like, I’m not going enforce that law any more? Not that the last one was an exec order, but the point is, we have the biggest liar since Clinton, and he furthermore just rubs our nose in it. I hear that Ms. Lamb over in State was given a better job with more responsibility, too. Obama is pushing something that clearly nobody wants; he lied about it, and keeps on going!

it’s not just the elephants that are complaining about the exec orders, more than a handful of donkeys are as well. It’s all to easy to point at republicans for being obstructionists. Its a gross mishandling of the truth to not point out that the democrats can’t agree amongst themselves and back the president either.
