Can’t believe HH touched that poor’s face with his bare hand: you know they’re all riddled with diseases. Who says he isn’t brave?

The boat cracked in half is a nice touch since Tom Perkins was convicted of killing a man with his yacht

The excessively rich should remember that lampposts can fill more than one function.

Bolling, you’ve hit rock bottom with this caricature. Unfortunately, this is pretty typical liberal representation of the evil money-bags capitalists. Maybe you should read a history book about what happens when the government steps in to redistribute the wealth. Stalin, Mao, the list goes on.

Yes, communism was specifically intended to be the antithesis of 19th century laissez faire capitalism but… at the same time trust busting and labor unions introduced the possibility that capitalism could become a democratic institution offering opportunity to all. In my opinion, both capitalism and communism are based on over-simplified (and provably wrong) models of human behavior. We need an economic system that recognizes that humans are both selfish and altruistic… that we play a complex social game that is not easily modeled by a small game theory matrix.

Technically, Kristallnacht was the beginning of the Holocaust. But Hollingworth is so terrified of our zombie-like hordes, his confusion is understandable. And your alacrity is remarkable—that rich idiot just came out with the Kristallnacht remark a week ago. Oh well, when they write the material for you—for free!—you’d be a sucker not to jump on it. ;)

Just to continue that list, Grover—Canada, France, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland—-

Man, so many communist countries that capitalists love to vacation and/or keep their money.

    ;)

In any event, it’s pretty funny to accuse a guy writing a comic strip of doing ‘caricatures’. Isn’t that pretty much his stock in trade? I bet you laugh your ass off Grover, when he caricatures Obama, um, I mean Obadger. ;)

This strip is inspired by a previously unknown capitalist, who has not really accomplished anything in his life but to make money and marry one of the worst novelists in history (whose work he championed before they divorced). He is known for running somebody over with his yacht, and for comparing people being pissed over extremely rich people not paying enough taxes to Brownshirt thugs breaking the windows of Jewish shopkeepers, preparatory to dragging them off to the gas chamber.

If somebody caricatures himself and his entire class, how on earth do you expect somebody who makes his living through caricature to not rise to the bait?

Why the hell are you angry at Mr. Bolling, and not—what’s his name again?—(googles)—oh right, Perkins. Honestly, this is the most memorable thing the man has ever done. Other than murder-by-Yacht, of course.

I’ve seen Communism at its height in Europe and it was utter 19th Century crap.I’ve seen what you Americans call Capitalism and it is also utter 19th Century crap.Do not confuse Free Enterprise with Capitalism, they are not related, unless you have control of Capital.
