The only utensil Burl needs is a small shovel.

If you use chop sticks you must take your time to eat, A concept that is foreign to Joy, Eat fast, Eat much, Eat Often. She has this needlepointed and hanging in the kitchen.

Actually, forks are quite tricky if you’re not used to them. Ever try to teach a baby to use one?

What kind of shirt is Burl wearing today? Is he trying to show off his non-existent biceps?

Burl will like chopsticks better after he figures out he can rudely spear large quantities of some foods with them…Obnoxiously reaching past slow movers at the buffet…his obviously used chopstick coming from behind them out of nowhereto stab that last fried chicken breast before they can grab it…. (even if it falls off they won’t want it any more.)

3 pork dumplings in 4 seconds!

    And yeah, buffet….

Chinese buffets around here have become a major attraction for budget diners and low-income seniors, though the price has gone up now to where some can’t afford it…Fast food is cheaper, but Denny’s costs more, especially with the tip…

There are no servers so most people don’t tip at the buffet.

Don’t understand why some folks have problems with chopsticks. Both my late wife and my current one took to them like a duck to water. You should see the looks from the servers when we bring our sterling silver chopsticks out..! Had mine for over 40 yrs now.
