an. 31 is Take Your Cat to the Vet Day.Please remember that it is important to have your cat checked regularly to remain healthy. And, please, have your cats neutered or spayed to help protect the environment and keep the population of wild strays at a minimum.Your cats will thank you for it.

I’m here! But my timing can sometimes be lateMy schedule makes me miss “time-of-update”But I will add what I can to the mixAs JusSayin notes, I can do “Doc Rat fix”I see that he managed to knock our guy flatAnd not touch the mouse when he clobbered the catThat’s not a task that’s very easy to doBut it’s become clear their intentions are trueAt least it is clearer the Topsider pairIs not just to kill our guys. No, they are thereFor some other purpose, and our speculationIs that they seek health from an anthro-mutation=|====/ Level HeadVote for Endtown 2.0And for Doc Rat, tooThe Endtown ForumThe Endtown AuctionThe Endtown Books

Blast. For some reason GoComics seems to have dropped the “J” from my comment. That should be “Jan. 31st”.

After four years of reading this, I thought all you posters were jackasses. But but no. Wally has become a jackass*.

*For anyone who has forgotten, "Jackass and “Fart” are the only acceptable words I’ll use when posting comments.

Let’s hope Wally doesn’t accidentally clip Jim’s earpiece and accidentally start him mutating…at least not till we get some answers…

Veteran,I know that Aaron has fun with names, and that Philomena “Blackie” Flask was a great character who was enjoyable to look at. Still, I suspect that Aaron has moved on w.r.t. the former security captain.Have you ever wondered why there are so few pictures of Flask on the auction block? Aaron could really use the money and the original Flask pictures have brought good prices. Still, after Christmas, there have only been two Flask pics, both were potential cover art for book #4.My guess is that writing and drawing the “Countdown” arc, Flask’s airship attack on the settlement and the Flaskback arc was wrenching for Aaron and he might have found that he just felt strange drawing Flask for the auction block. He may have needed to close the book on Philomena. He’s left her in a better place, with a love and a mission of her own. I don’t think he could bring himself to disturb her.Disclaimer: Aaron has never said anything to me about his reasons for not drawing more Flask pictures, and I am only guessing. Also, as a guy with Aspergers, I stink at empathy and am not good at guessing other people’s motives so you might take the above with a grain of salt.

Actually, Linda Koala-ski was given the same treatment by Marx. She refused to enter the hole in the world that Marx made that opened into Endtown. Shge didn’t trust it. Marx picked her up and tossed her through. Short anthros get no respect, I tell ya.

Escape from Albion West (Yackety Trax), by JennerTo the tune of “Yackety Sax”, alias the Benny Hill themeOh… you take Wally then and I’ll take Holly and we’re all gonna jump into the van. We’ve got a psycho kitty-cat, a mouse so pretty that I’ll be any animal I can.We gotta scoot that boot in just one second‘Cause we gave those guys a darn good neckin’.Threw ‘em in the river. Bubblin’ down.Talk about a giggle! Now… who’s that steering it, ‘cause I’m not steering it, ‘cause I’m busy dealing with the cat.We gotta throw that satellite, and no, left, hang a right, and I’ve gotta have a tail like that.Until he sank his fangs into my nubbin,So I’m pounding ‘round this cooped-up cabin.Pedal to the metal! Rubber to burn!Talk about a giggle! One fine day I’m gonna turn into aTwo ton turtle or a tamanduaOr a padamelon. Shut your bloody yellin’.Back up and try it all again.Road is wide. The gate is open, but we’llNeed some speed. That bridge is broken, and we’llLand the other side and bounce around inside anHurt like ordinary men.A…way from Albion out butts all will be when the guys blow it absolutely flat. They say a bomb or banishment is just the punishment for people who want to be a cat. That’s why they’re hunting heaps of mutant furries,And they hack their heads off, no darn worries.Fuzzy little critter, that’ll be me.Talk about a giggle!

I always assumed that the “swing a cat” was a reference to a “cat of 9 tails”, an instrument of discipline from the days of wooden ships and iron men. It was effectively a handle with 9 cords (I believe knots were tied at the ends of each cord). The basic idea was that old ships didn’t have enough space to swing a bullwhip, so the cat of 9 tails could inflict as much pain possible and still be swung in cramped quarters.

How fast are dittos? I am guessing they will follow Wally and Holly, because dittos aren’t very good at taking orders, but ordinary the Transport would kill them as vermin, and think the Transport would notice if they were tied to, or riding along the outside the transport.

I really doubt the dittos were sent on this journey just for the events at Albion West. I expect them to turn up long after I’ve given up on seeing them again.JusWonderin
