Could a little bigotry on someone’s part be the cause here… and I’m not talking about the characters….

That was good Dredd style justice, but I am disappointed that during the proceedings there was not a single Tasing.

I suspect it’s a combination of several shootings: the Florida texting-in-the-theater shooting (by an off-duty cop) and the Trayvon Martin shooting (a guy stalks and shoots an unarmed teen because he felt threatened). The point being, of course, that as long as Stand Your Ground is properly invoked, you can actually get away with murder in this country. The nice thing is that the actual victim doesn’t get to testify.

I have no problem with that Adrian. I really dispise people who are bigotted or racist. But, I find all-too-often they are the ones most loudly calling for more of it.An example of this is Tim Wise. Look him and his ilk up.I really would like a color blind world where you are judged solely on your contributions to it.

One thing I would say contributes to the large amount of unnecessary deaths (To tell the truth mass shootings do not phase me, About 100 died last year from mass and about 10,000 died from homicide, which in turn is outweighed by 20,000 self defense deaths.* the 20,000 self defense deaths varies to ridiculous amounts with estimates in gun use in self defense itself varying between 2.5 million and 50 thousand)

Is the pro – violent culture in regards to self defense. It would seem that the cultural image is that if you yourself are at risk that you have the right to kill. Quite generally it would appear that the self defense deaths which outnumber homicides 2 – 1 or 200-100-1 including mass shootings.

At the end of the day one would consider it amoral to kill for money, yet when it comes to protection of one’s money it would appear this position changes

I will amend your list to say no to partisan politics and pseudo-conservatives, and yes to actual conservatives. We need a good balance of conservatives and liberals working together for the betterment of all Americans while remaining fiscally responsible.
