I had a government worker inadvertently help me with something a few weeks ago. It took about two minutes; he smiled. And didn’t charge me for it. Yup, I’m probably the reason the country’s going broke – that or there’s still hope for the basic good of people. :-)
Well, looks like a plow finally showed up to save the day. -——————————————-But you sort of wonder about Agnes’ comment to Trout on panel 3. Sure, Trout’s Mom apparently isn’t always around. But that doesn’t mean that Agnes should be.

I wouldn’t mind being ‘stuck’ the way Trout was, though I’m not sure if she’s really disappointed or just being ironic.
