    The towhees in Phoenix would actually do this. If the feeder was empty. they’d come in, smack the newspaper in your hands to get your attention, and stare at you – “Make with the seed, featherless ones.”

    That 2nd panel is a beaut. Keeper..the WhiskeyJacks in Manning Park don’t wait. They just land on your breakfast plate and steal your bacon while your fork filled with scrambled eggs is halfway to your mouth!
