Resisting the point of the cartoon again? Martin Luther King, Jr. was an advocate for peace and nonviolence. No matter how you rationalize it, the US is one of the biggest supporters of violence around the world. It’s not about “well, others will do it if we don’t.” Or “we’re not as bad as other people.” We do it.
To insinuate that gun owners are “Gun violence advocates [who] are happy with that” does a great job of reinforcing the validity of your handle.-1. Nowhere did I mention gun owners. I would agree that most of the gun violence advocates, e.g. Wayne LaPierre and his followers are probably gun owners, but I would NOT agree that most gun owners are gun violence advocates. -Surveys I’ve read indicate that most NRA members favor background checks and limits on high capacity magazines. -2. Couldn’t you be a little more clever or original in your insults?
