How about the traceable psychological damage of several months to several years in prison. Or the financial cost of such. Or the damage to ones career of having a criminal record

I’m opposed to opiates and true hard narcotics being sold out there, but ignorance and “Reefer Madness” are still the “right wing” argument against MJ, but oddly, not booze that is a lot more dangerous, and physically lethal to many folks every year. Name one person whose actually overdosed on marijuana.

Which, after putting up with side effects of all the pain and other medications from “big pharma”, I’m now putting in for my medical marijuana card to grow my own, as it’s more effective for my medical “problems”, and actually leaves me clearer headed, and dosage is much easier to adjust.

MY “objections” to recreational use, is the lack of regulation on DUII using PRESCRIPTION MEDS, AND ALCOHOL, implies DUII on pot (rarely as dangerous) may be a problem. BUT, given all the drug dogs out there being used to stop “trafficking” the odds are the police are more likely to pick up those smoking pot than smashed on alcohol. (Hmm, retrain the dogs to sniff out alcohol???)

Harley: alcohol doesn’t stop muscle spasms and pain, pot does. Prescription drugs don’t work as well, and leave you a lot more “stoned”. Opiates, highly addictive and dangerous, pot – not.

If weed makes people passive, how come there was so much public dissent and uproar in the 1960s, when it first became popular among White folks?
