At my former workplace all the idiots were at the top.

This reminds me of that line by Dark Helmet in Spaceballs.

The federal agency I retired from seemed that as I got closer to retirement, the decision/policy makers got their by either being “yes” people or scheming the way up.

Only if you are a gov’t employee; I once thought it was in self interest.

A shout out to the under paid idiots
