Even better make a recording of the sound of the vacuum on an endless loop, then put speakers activated by motion sensors in every room, and play that sound and watch Satch run all over the apartment trying to get away from the invisible vacuum.
My cats used to try to catch my shoelaces as I pedaled my stationary bike. And one would sleep perched on the broad seat in the winter because it was shoved out of the way above the baseboard heater.
