You know, if this is supposed to be the last year our protagonists are in high school, why aren’t they doing more things like Seniors do? Class pictures, helping with the yearbook, worrying about SATs, college application letters, and even the Senior Prom! At the rate Greg is going, our friends will still be in high school for another 29 years… ;)

Even though I’d like to believe that Crystal is just pulling Knute’s leg, there are a couple of songs:: “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue” by Crystal Gale and “Would I Like To You”, by the Eurythmics…. - There’s also “Foolin” by Def Leppard“Lies” by Linda Ronstadt/ the Knickerbockers“Easy For You To Say” Linda Ronstadt“The Grand Illusion” by Styx“Little Lies” by Fleetwood Mac“Policy Of Truth” Depeche Mode

I think it was Josh Billings who said, “A auctioneer tole me that, and I never knowed a auctioneer to lie, lessin it wasabsolutely convenient.” The same cannot be said of poli-ticians. Being a good liar is a basic job qualification. Someare better at it, or tell more and bigger whoppers than others.

-Crystal’s real power is to get away with wearing clothes so awful-looking they make Knute’s outfits look good.

-Crystal reminds me of two sisters who attended my high school. Both were artists, and both dressed in antique clothes they found at local consignment stores. They were way ahead of their time; back then, no one willingly shopped at consignment stores. -Other kids gave them a wide berth, and called them witches. There was never any proof that the young girls knew the first thing about Wicca, but they were really great at sketching and painting. Very creative types. Maybe that’s Crystal’s real power….

It was “rumor and hoax”. TV Lied also believed that there would be a new Trek series on in September… so I guess rumors of this being a TV show on, as well as the Trek one was , technically, on in the “false season”….

I think Crystal’s power is the same as any woman, the ability to purr a little, squeeze Les’ muscles , compliment him on how strong he is, taking Knute down with one punch, getting him to spend a small fortune on her, just to drop him like a hot potato, as soon as he’s hooked! (Then go back to Knute, of course)

She claimed she’s the best liar on the planet, able to convince anyone of anything. So since Knute said he believed her, and she said she just showed him how she does it (that is, convinced him), does that mean she =isn’t= the best liar on the planet, able to convince anyone of anything?

So Leslie goes to the principal and makes a fool out of himself as he explains what happened. The principal figures out what happened in the restroom and calls Crystal and Knute into his office. Crystal and Knute get suspended for three days. Leslie gets no punishment because he was defending himself.
