Sure glad the righties stir no hate.

From what I understand, the only taxpayer dollars being paid are for the security of both the president and his family. and this would be done regardless of just where the president and his family are. I also would think the same has been done for all recent presidents , including former president GW Bush. I, as a taxpayer have absolutely no resentment at all about this whether the president is a Democrat or a Republican!!

That’s a lot of weight on the backs of taxpayers!

It is actually Obama policies that are making the rich more rich. The phones money being printed by this administration has to go somewhere and since reinvesting in my business is so risky with all of the rules and regulations being imposed on us, it must go somewhere. So it goes into the stock market. That pushes the stock market up.

Why not a few cartoons about Bush on vacation?

What a bunch of dry-farts commenting here! The cartoon is just flat out funny, and makes a valid point. While much of the expense of Michelle’s post-vacation vacation is being handled privately (by one-percenters like Oprah), there are still significant additional expenses put on the backs of the taxpayers, including additional security (not necessary if she was in the White House) and additional transportation costs (which are substantial since the first lady won’t deign to fly with commoners).

And isn’t the messaging from the Obamas a little “off” at the moment? Michelle is taking EXTRA vacation in EXTRA luxury while her husband is demanding “emergency” unemployment benefits for victims of a destitute economy.
