It’s funnier when Andy just keeps walking, and then off the edge into the canal, instead of tripping. (I’d love to see an animation of Andy suddenly realizing he was in midair, like when Wile E. Coyote is suddenly on the wrong side of the edge of the cliff!) Once again, this would be funnier with a few extra cans of beer flying around.

He didn’t like our “graphitti” as a backdrop to his glorious artwork. He thought some of the posters had good content while others were for lack of better wording, boring and mundane with nothing of substance to say. There were flyby vicious Prof type attacks which really put “the frosting on the cake”. When doing a strip that portrays acts that are just a hairs width away from “porno” acts… is just asking for all kinds of “input”. Some of the regulars came up with real fine double “entenders”. You could get some great laughs there.-We have grown fond of the handle too !-I’m going to make a motion that dogs be GMOed with the meow gene. They’ll be Labeled, of course.-Fantab… has been around for awhile. Not my invention.-Happy Sunday ba’catcha !________________________________________________Hmm… “Boring” and “Mundane” Why does You-Know-Who suddenly spring to mind?-It’s a shame I missed out on all the ‘fun’ but I’m glad I missed out on all of the troll action. I find Andy Capp can be just as fun when it’s a little busier.-To be honest, ‘Number Three’ is more like an alter ego. If you met me in real life, you would be pretty disappointed I’m sure.-When you succeed in putting the ‘meow’ gene in dogs… Let us all know, will you? Forever is a good enough waiting time for me. Haha.-I hope your Monday is pleasant.

Another decent strip… even if they likely got the idea from that old Smythe strip, 6.5/10

I think what’s lacking most in the current Andy comics is FLAVOR. There’s no flavor in the dialogue, in the characters, in the situations, and certainly none in the art. The art is so flat that it occurs to me that if Andy and Chalkie were in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, instead of being balloons, they’d be KITES! (Mikeyj once did a brilliant one where everybody was so two-dimensional they were literally cutouts. Anybody care to re-post that one? Your one today was also very funny, Mikeyj.) The current Andys remind me of a small-town comedy club, where the comics all do very lukewarm impressions of celebrities. Where are the real Andy, Flo, Chalkie, Ruby, Jackie, Percy, and the Vicar when we need them?^^Well thought out… and, since you asked…
