Razil needs to take a clue from the USA in the management of Karzai. That is a few hundred million $$$ in foreign aid works magic.

And at the beginning, Karzai seemed to be the reasonable businessman that he had been before. At some point, unlimited money and unlimited adulation (at least by his own flunkeys) turned him into a two-bit con man. Who is not even good at it.

Is this new or a rerun? If the latter, it sure shows that the U.S. of A. has been reading water in afghanistan for years. Not funny, but the strip sure is. Some great lines in several of the panels. Looking at them one wants to both laugh and weep.

They didn’t learn because they made sure not to go there.I will, however, shed a symbolic tear for the Afghan women who will be oppressed, probably more than they were the last time these pseudo-Muslims ran things.

Don’t forget Robert Strange McNamara that is directly responsible for the death of 55,000 ortroops in Vietnam while he played a corporate game of “body count” with the communist.

“what’s a book?” Could be Texas? Is that a euphemism or metonymy?

Hate women much? Sad to read that you don’t care about others, think murder is justified, life is worthless, defending women pointless.

“Didn’t we learn a damn thing in Vietnam??”Nope. Not a blessed thing. To do so would be unpatriotic.

Books and Texas? The only connection to me is that Texas works very hard to get its right-wing religious nonsense enshrined in national textbooks. The publishers are too lazy to print different books for the rest of the country since they sell so many in Texas.

Not sure where you fabricated the 3.5 million figure. Wikipedia says 1.1 million VCA-VC casualties.
