But you can’t use language you see all the time in the strips.

Feel free to leaf through a current superhero comic these days, folks, even from the most mainstream Big Two. They’ve been steeped in the most outrageous gore and graphic violence imaginable for years now.

Warner Bros’ and Disney’s DC/Marvel films are fairly clean stuff, but one of WB/DC’s recent animated movies, The Flashpoint Paradox, would’ve gotten an “R” rating if it’d been theatrically released.

Maybe a talk with George Carlin…? No, wait, he’s dead. That ^#$#$&* that idea….

Try reading some of the many web comics that are out there. They don’t suffer from this censorship foolishness.

It’s kind of like all the nitwits getting crazy when a sports figure uses the “F” word (it sure isn’t a bomb) on a live mike, then sitting silently through the commercials with twin outdoor bathtubs.

I never had to explain to my 8 year old that the competitor was angry at messing up, but what do you say when he asks “What’s erectile dysfunction?”

When will Darby ever do a week or two of new daily Get Fuzzy strips for 2014?

Do my eyes deceive? Is this the first new comic in months?
