Amazing how general managers have so much faith in some athletes.
I have a friend who’s a Cowboys fan. He says he wants Tony Romo to be a pall-bearer when he dies, because that way Romo can let him down one last time. Yet the Cowpokes “braintrust” thinks he’s the best quarterback they can get.
This expensive contract will truly guarantee that the Bears will have vacation time come playoffs. As a Packers fan, I’m ecstatic.
Y’know, I stopped watching Bears games years ago ‘cuz it was too….draining. So what happened? The other night, flipping around, I see a Bears game. It’s a really small point spread but there’s less than 3 minutes left, then less than two minutes, so we’ll be OK, right? So my husband and I take a chance, thinking, surely, THIS time. And then we watch as GB catches a pass and, I swear, it looked like the Bear closest to him was waiting to see if he actually caught it before he did anything. Granted they do what I never could, but they also get paid a bazillion bucks a year to do it. Will I NEVER learn??
