Munich didn’t intimidate Israel, and though I disagree with many of their right-wingnut leaders like Netanyahu, or their illegal occupation of others’ land, at least they deal with things with spine instead of jello. They also have intense security measures, oppressive to their own Arab citizens, but don’t panic at every mouse that runs across the kitchen floor.
The Olympics symbolize nations coming together to compete without war. The nuts in vests are only reacting to decades of the U.S. and our “allies” attacking Islam and Arab countries who don’t think we should run THEIR COUNTRIES!
They should not win this “war” of terrorism, by mere threat, like Republican “filibusters” in the Senate have made this the worst Congress in history. We need to move forward and just kick them to the psychological, if not physical, curb, and get on with life. Otherwise, it is the “suicidal”, either in our politics, or on the world stage, who will continue to conquer the rational, and those with the courage to truly kick some A** because of the cowardice of the prattling mob.
Morty: I keep thinking “Tim McVeigh”. My doctor at the time was one of the first responders in Oklahoma City, attending a conference on handling mass casualties, if you can understand the irony. Where HAS the anger been toward our own “wingnuts” and radicals in this country???

I knew well a little country where the French screwed over the people, and we helped them repeatedly to maintain their empire, but in the end, we lost, and those people DID get their country back, and they’re becoming better Capitalists than we, it’s called Viet Nam.
