Ted Rall for December 31, 2013
Transcript:
In late December 2013, Democrats voted to kill unemployment benefits to 1.3 million Americans. (Man: How many campaign contributions do out-of-work people give me? Exactly. The vote was overwhelming. In the house, Democrats screwed the jobless 163 votes to 32. In the senate, it was 49 to 4. (Man 1: Yea.) (Woman: Ok.) (Man 2: I'm in.) (Man 3: Cool.) Less than 2 weeks later, Democrats unleashed a ferocious ad campaign against the bill they voted for. It's almost enough to make you feel sorry for Republicans. (Man 4: You voted the same as us?!?) (Man 5: With our fingers crossed!) Almost. (Man 6: We could say we crossed our fingers and our toes) (Man 7: No! I'm proud I hate the poor!)

That’s what the GOP gets for being honest…. Well, relative to the lying Democrats….

1. More to poor can and does often include things such as church donations, or local organisations rather than national.
2. Family giving is what might be considered ill defined, is giving ones son a brand new car as a gift charitable, necessary ? I myself open my bank account to my family members to borrow money at any given time, is this charitable ? It can certainly be helpful but I do get the money back
3 . As for blood, considering the cash benefit and the general lower state subsidies to welfare you might see a driving factor.

There’s nothing that says community like people who don’t know each other’s lives accusing each other online of being uncharitable on a personal level.

“You make yourself a friend to the right when they use you as “the enemy of my enemy.””.Cheap shot. While many right leaning posters here are celebrating when Ted hammers Democrats, the Democrats themselves are to blame for giving him so much material.
