Border Collies are possibly the most intelligent dogs of all breeds. Possibly because they were bred for intelligence to work as herders, not bred for some bizarre physical aesthetic. That’s why it took so long for them to be recognized as an official breed – no standard appearance.

Chaser knew the names of his 1000 toys not commands, he has been tested numerous times and was right every time. They tried to see if they could confuse him by using four of his toys and one that was not one of his , he picked the right one because he knew the names of four and picked the one he didn’t know the name of.
