    also see http://nypost.com article by Andrea Morabito in the “entertainment” section…..a biased writer, who framed Phil Robertson’s answer to a no-doubt TRAP question….with this lead-in “The self-proclaimed Bible thumper…”.-The GQ (that I never choose to find and read) reporter’s Q was “what do you find sinful” (about homosexual behavior)..and Phil, a Christian husband and father and grandfather who prays at each meal and speaks as a long-time Bible believer, gave a paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10. Hardly any believer quotes the original Greek language of the New Testament. His paraphrase is a truthful and correct expression of God’s inspired Word on sin and sinners.-Phil later responded to the GLAAD furor (an attempt to silence any Christian and try to get A & E to end the 4 year Hit Show)….and GLAAD and other sympathizers want to allow themselves the exclusive Right to Free Speech in Media.-God will have the Last Word.

    Phil Robertson’s statement in response to the Media uproar:“I myself am a product of the 60’s, I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior. My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.”-“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty, and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”-(does that sound “racist” or like a “bigot” to you, Readers?)It is the Far Left that is spewing HATE….expecially to anyone with the nerve to quote God’s standards from the Bible.

    Phil Robertson is not preaching his own personal “religion”;

    he is quoting God’s Holy Bible teachings of what God says is wrong and what is right when asked in an interview for a print magazine.- Phil R. has been practicing the standard of Biblical behavior since the 1960s and his wife and children and grandchildren are the proof of genuine Christian living in a world of sin. They do not use A & E’s Duck Dynasty shows for verbal preaching or teaching.-God’s Word makes it clear that there is only one way to be saved from the wages of living sinfully, eternal death, and that is to trust in God’s only Son who paid the debt of death for whoever believes in God and His written and His Living Word, the Christ and Messiah of Israel, promised by God from Genesis to Revelation. Jesus, Immanuel (God With Us) and also called Yeshua, the promised King of Kings to be born in Bethlehem, to live sinless and die and rise from the Dead, to be at the right hand of God in Heaven until the moment the Father sends Yeshua to rescue Israel from the antichrist world army at Armageddon and set up a world kingdom with the restored Zion throne of David as earth’s capitol. I hope that is fulfilled soon, to stop the evil of Satan and unbelievers.

    The response from the left, to this and other cases where they want to silence conservatives, is that some people are offended, so he must apologize. So, what about all the conservatives that are offended by much of what Obama and a long list of liberals do and say? Why is it that offending leftists is horrible but offending conservatives is fine?

    The left constantly show their extreme hypocrisy. And they’re proud of it!

    “Funny how those of us that are conservative, or that might agree with him are insulted, demeaned, put down, and ignored because of our views……but GLAAD, liberals, progressives, and others can say all that they want against us and we are supposed to just take it.”Yeah, it’s not like conservatives ban people from speaking when they don;t like what they hear…‘Duck Dynasty’ star shunned by Christian organization thanks to wine dealGet a clue: Being on a TV show ain’t free speech.

    The thing is, this really isn’t a free speech issue. The First Amendment says “Congress shall make no law…” When we talk about “free speech,” that’s a government intrusion. This is a business and economic decision. An employer has every right to use suspension and/or termination to address an employee’s comments that it feels reflects badly on the company.

    That being said, I actually happen to agree with Phil’s comments. I could have done without some of the rather graphic and vulgar additions, but what he said is largely true. It is sad that someone espousing their personal beliefs has come to this in our society. It used to be that we’d let anyone say just about anything, argue with them and go on.

    I don’t have a problem with Phill, it’s the cowardice of the network that promoted his very values for sales, that now backs off. I don’t AGREE with him, but they often say and do some funny things on the show, that reflects their culture, one I spent a couple years around, and found “wanting”.

    Ah, but when it comes to free speech and tolerance, the “Good Christian” acceptance of Islam, Buddhism, or even Judaism (other than exterminating them at the “rapture”) is SO “loving”.
