Yep! Still not sure why some black activists are making a big deal that Santa is White.Wait a minute! The Easter Bunny is White too!! Conspiracy? Hmm…….

Santa is as green as a twenty dollar bill. But he’s also comes in plastic of all colors.Christmas on the other hand, is multicolored and in ‘theory’, all about family, friends, compassion, and caring.Having seen Ms. Kelly’s original statement in all of its vehemence and certainty regarding the color of Santa and Jesus, I found her comment that it was all ‘tongue in cheek’ to be a bit disingenuous.Merry Christmas folks.Sincerely,C.

A resident of that place at that time would in fact be of middle eastern appearance. Santa, however, is green because only a martian could possess such superhuman abilities. Martians can change their appearance, I hear.

I found her original statement silly, NFL. I found her attempt to get out from under the criticism it evoked, and her calling it race baiting, to be disingenuous. Did you see the original comment and the following explanation on how it was all supposed to be ‘humor" that followed? She seemed very serious, and even angry, at the idea someone might call Santa anything other than white.Once again, it’s just as silly as those who were upset to see Nick Fury portrayed by Samuel L. Um, actually St. Nicolas was Turkish. Not so white.

Oh, and Jesus was Jewish and thus Semitic, so unlikely to look like those portraits you see a lot in the US.

Lycia was in Southern Turkey. Turks then and now would consider themselves dark, not white.
