I received 2 favorite gifts. A heart shaped charm for my bracelet from my son, and I will be getting a new stainless steel kitchen sink this weekend. Yay!Favorite gift given…….I can only say it knocked his socks off. ;-)
The most well-received gifts that I have given are a pair of ruby and diamond earrings with a matching necklace and this year’s front row center tickets to a Mark O’Connor concert, both to my wife.
The year I convinced my 11-year old son that we couldn’t afford the gokart that he had dreamed about all year – then after he had told us that “That’s OK, I understand.” I sent him to get me some things from the garage where it was waiting.He came in actually stuttering, “Is Is Is that for me?.”Greatest Christmas present ever…
Hubby and I had the kitchen redone this summer, from the slab up. That covered Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, Hanukkah, and everything in between for a l-o-n-g time. However, he did give me a lovely pair of much-needed bootee-type bedroom slippers and I gave him an equally needed wallet. (Nothing left to put in it, though!)
