In Andy’s case, “Leave Her To Heaven”. :)

Carry on films are rather outdated now, too much sexism and racist themes for these times… my recently deceased Dad loved them, though.

Once again, the strip isn’t worth the pixels it was drawn with 0/10

There was an “Art” Movie theatre in Los Angeles and my husband and I saw several “Carry on” movies there. Ages ago!

Your sophistication was just too much for her, Andy me lad.I enjoyed the “Carry On” movies, even if a lot of the Brit references sailed majestically over my head.

So let’s expose ourselves to ridicule and scorn by listing some of our favorite movies. I don’t think I could come up with just one as my favorite, but the short list would include The Guns of Navarone, Goodfellas, and Dr. Strangelove.

“Dentist the Mentist sais: ……….. because I like to !~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My dictionary is really dumb — it doesn’t even know of the word, ’mentist .”And even my spell-checker thinks it’s a misspelled word.

The boxes are missing from this copy and paste, but I have yet to ever get an enlarged image or even an image, period. Spacings are approximate.^^ That’s strange, it always works for me ???Anyone else having problems seeing the drawing?

I’m not a big movie watcher so it’s no surprise that I’ve never heard of that film. I’ve heard of ‘Gone with the Wind’ but never watched it.xxx

Some of us make most of our spel ggofs (spell goofs) due to wrong keystrokes. No editing function only compounds things. I have posted and reposted up to four times to fix stuff I find right after doing a set in. Some people have trouble with to, too, and two. -They might be trying to help if they think a person is simply not knowledgeable on what they are doing. It really depends on who is giving the “help”; like if it is someone you know. I am aware that some get snippy while “helping.”-Rants are okay….. rages are hard !-Glad you enjoyed Frank. A fella I met while in service told me and the guy I was with, that Frank is big in Europe, compared to U.S. He had attended a concert in Italy and showed slides. Good fun !-You have read enough stuff in here to know that many of our lives are just ‘doin’ our everyday thang’, with occasional high spots. Hearing what people do in different lands is fun. Don’t beat yourself up. -If I worked at the Goat, I would/might lobby for an adult partition to the same comics, in other words, a dual access, where the other one would be a sign in to confirm you are adult and where most everything would go…. humour, profanity, name calling,… for those who want to get ‘personal’. People beating on people who have lost family or their animals would be addressed. In fact, if I have to tell someone to “cool it”, they would get an e-mail in the kind of language I like to use. An offender gets one chance to recant and delete before going into timeout.-This site has gone through changes in the almost 6 years of doing Comments; what’s one more ?-We all, who know Dry, want to see her back ! -May your Saturday be sweet as you !________________________________________________People also get confused with there, their and they’re. A lot of the spelling errors I make are due to typos. -I’m sure the slideshow was awesome to look at. Glad he had a great time. Would you have ever went to Frank’s concerts if he was still alive?-That’s an excellent idea what you would do if you worked at the ‘Goat’ Couldn’t think of a better one myself!-The only days I talk about is when blood donations are involved. I’m proud of what I do. I’m going to donate pint No.7 in early January if I can. Still need to make an appointment. Once I text my cousin, no doubt he’s going to say that he had a word with the nurses to save the biggest needle for me. Sighhhhh. He knows I’m scared of needles but can’t resist teasing me. Haha.-I hope you have a Sweet Sunday!

North by Northwest definitely on my list, too. It seems that we’re both Alistair MacLean fans. You like Zebra and I like Navarone. How about we compromise and pick Where Eagles Dare?
