    I can’t decide if you think you are being funny or if you’re just picking on Susan. Either way, Susan was just reminded of another dog and wanted to share, which I find entertaining and I appreciate her sharing. If you don’t find it interesting, just move on rather than picking on fellow commenters because that is rude and NOT entertaining.

    That’s a terrible feeling! Better check the county animal shelter. Maybe someone wanted to get Farley out of the cold and called animal control. Or maybe they were nice and kept him at their house to stay warm.

    @grandypollo

    “that’s what is going to happen. Lucky you are a “pro” vs. an amateur.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~.What a nasty remark to make! Susan said nothing to warrant such a vile attack. Did you get up on the wrong side of the world this morning?

    FYI, Susan doesn’t call herself a ‘pro;’that is the tag they hang on your handle if you’re someone who feels like it’s only fair to pay for what you’re getting.(you would know that, if you paid for it.)

    I’m sure you will ignore the troll… I also thought your story was interesting; and I especially love the happy ending!

    I don’t usually comment, but I’d like to say to Susan that I enjoyed her story as well and I think grandypollo was out of line.

    Your rant against Susan was uncalled for and really dumb. All of us are reminded slightly of something that happened in our lives or something we read about. Just because she chose to share her memory doesn’t make her a target of your snarky comments. I rather liked the story. I can see where the dog got the name “Cokey”.And oh, by the way, the “Pro” after her name means she pays for a GoComics subscription and nothing else.

    As I stated yesterday, thank goodness my dog isn’t a runner but all bets can be off when it comes to birds, cats, and bunnies invading her turf! Because our backyard isn’t fenced-in, there’s always someone out there with her at all times when she has to potty . . . just in case. Plus, we also get critters like snakes, skunks, possums, and raccoons that we need to protect her from — not to mention the hawks we have around here, too [she only weighs 8 lbs. so we stick pretty close by when we know they’re flying around in the vicinity]. As you can probably tell, we ♥ our dog tremendously . . . she’s our baby so we’re very watchful over her — especially when she’s outdoors — because anything can happen at any moment and we don’t want to take a chance on anything happening to her!!!!!

    From now on, fence him in with the handy-man’s secret weapon, duct-tape!
