Abner’s a classic horror fan; he might think the Saw films are too trendy.

Three perils? I call them three alligators.

This story arc is so much like the old movie serial/chapter films. Where at the end of each chapter. The hero would get into some type of peril and the film ends. You would have to go to the theater the next week to see how he/she escaped!

What would make it complete. Would be if the floor starts to slowly recede into the wall. ;-)

Watch out for that Dick Tracy. He carry a GGONNNNN.

At this point survival would be a pretty good goal…

The bad guy always plays with the victim instead of just killing him and moving on.

You have your gun Tracy, just shoot these gators and move on to the next challenge.

All of the sudden, Rikki’s not looking happy, like she’s having second thoughts. Anyone else out their think she might help Tracy?

Crocs are formidable killers in the water, on land, they are slow and ineffective, get them all out of the water, hit them in the eyes to stun them, then swim like crazy to the door on the other side…and you might escape trap #1

Quick Tracy, reach for something in your “Utility Belt” You always have something in it to help you though! Oops, wrong superhero!

This whole set-up of going from room to room reminds me of the movie, “Cube.” Kadaver is being entertained here. The expression on Rikki’s face looks to me like she is “interested” in Kadaver’s explanation. She doesn’t look unhappy to me.

But it’s not good for alligators to eat in the cold months. That’s animal cruelty, that is!

When he gets close tlike that, I can’t help but wonder if Kedaver smells as deteriorated as he looks…

This reminds me of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade when Indiana has to get through the three challenges to get to the Holy Grail and save his father’s life.

This story line reminds me of the Saturday afternoon serials I saw at our local movie theater when I was a kid.

didnt batman go thru this same thing on the classic 1960’s tv show?

I seem to remember James Bond in a similar situation. He ran across the backs of the Alligators.

looks to me that Kadaver got his hands all over RiKKI. A couple like that are meant for each other. ugly & clever and cute & plain stupid. I say that because of the company that she keeps.

This was a death trap on the Batman TV show. Is Abner and old or new enemy of Tracy? I mean was he back in the older days of the strip?_______________________

After reviewing the Wikipedia articles on crocodiles and alligators, I find that Tracy’s pals, though in the USA, look more like crocs. I suppose Kadaver might have imported them (illegally, of course) and let them grow for years, awaiting this moment. And, yes indeed, over short distances they can be very fast-moving on land. I’d prefer to see Tracy conserve his ammunition, finding some other way than shooting to get past the crocs to the next peril….

Abner should have his own “spinoff” comic…..he is far more charismatic than Tracy, and then he’s be free TO kill anyone off as well!
