If you miss the Lithium just move to Santa Fe, because of the huge veins of lapidolite underground the ground water is loaded with it!

Aren’t 7-Up and Sprite still considered effective hangover treatments today?

Amazing about the echidna. I thought all mammals had nipples.

It’s still a pretty fair hangover cure.

Back in my drinking days, thank God there over, I would come home and open a 7up and let it sit all night to go flat, when I got up for work it was pure sugar. Seemed to work!!

The atomic weight of Lithium is just under 7. I wonder if that’s where the name came from….

Also from Wikipedia:Monotremes (from the Greek μονός monos “single” + τρῆμα trema “hole”, referring to the cloaca) are mammals that lay eggs (Prototheria) instead of giving birth to live young like marsupials (Metatheria) and placental mammals (Eutheria). The only surviving examples of monotremes are all indigenous to Australia and New Guinea, although there is evidence that they were once more widespread. Among living mammals they include the platypus and four species of echidnas (or spiny anteaters); there is debate regarding monotreme taxonomy.

if you drink the 7up instead of the booze, it’s quite effective.

Lithium is not a depressant. It flattens mood oscillations (swings). Dosage is adjusted to bring the mood oscillations into a desirable range. And additional drug(s) are usually required to adjust the level of the new “average” to some desirable level between manic and major depression.
