“Doggie Kibble” is much better for Fred than leftovers. It’s made for dogs and is nutritionally balanced. Leftover people food isn’t good for dogs and most dogs fed that diet are overweight or obese. An OCCASIONAL treat is OK, depending on what it is. I have dogs that like various fruits and vegetables, salad with or without dressing, and of course cheese. They don’t get cheese very often. They’re fed a well-balanced, nutritionally correct prepared food with a little canned meat added for extra flavor. They get a dog biscuit in the morning.

I feel for you Fred. My wife has on occasion left me in the same predicament. Although if it’s Pizza or something similar it’s not all bad.
