I grew up eating povitica, which is Croatian nut bread. Around the holidays, my Grandma would bake up dozens of loaves and that was our treat. Fruitcakes would be left uneaten and usually unopened. I was fascinated by the unnaturally bright orange, red, yellow and green “fruit” that was part of the usually round fruitcake. I’m afraid I have three more FC cartoons sprinkled into the holiday cartoon mix between now and Dec 27th. Thanks for reading!

Edible fruitcakes can be recycled in their own bin (read trashcans) and the two legged fruitcakes are often recycled as politicians…in my opinion.

You can’t recycle fruitcakes, you can only dispose of them as hazardous materials. Get the moon suits.
