Unusually thoughtful for Luann. Perhaps she’s maturing after all.

So, Does THAT Mean That YOU Think He’s FINALLY Spending Enough with You NOW, “Boss Lady?”

Oh, and If I Were YOU I’d Take a GOOD Long LAST Look At that Snow Globe, Lu.

Because When Gunther Sees it on Q-Ball’s Nightstand, He’s Gonna “Accidentally” SMASH it into a Ga-Zillion Kia-Ma BITS.

This is true!…. along with the tilt (23.4 degrees) with one hemisphere towards and one away from the sun….– Also, in respect to the amounts of daylight, it is equal, but the “measure of heat intensity” is what I was trying to describe as “the seasons”….

Luann is being mighty clever— wearing mistletoe on (if not over) her head, so she can kiss whomever she likes, whenever she likes.*In case you missed it, check out Luann Againn today— a special guest appearance, by someone who has also improved with age!*BTW, I’m Christian but didn’t go to church Tues. or Wed. either. Too exhausted! As kids we think holidays “just happen”. As adults, we realize that celebrations are Made!*And thanks yesterday to the many ways to say “Merry Christmas”. And to our Canadian friends, “Happy Boxing Day”.

@milania: “You keep Christmas in your way, and let me keep it in mine.”@activist1234: I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to be holly, not mistletoe. I don’t think mistletoe has red berries. Besides, Luann has never really struck me as a “Whoever she likes, whenever she likes” kind of girl. True, she generally falls hard when she falls, but it’s never casual or immediate. And, in the immortal words of John Lennon: “Happy Chrimble, one and all!”

" get my little Kubota tractor, put the blade on the front, drive it through the house and push all the wrapping, boxes, and garbage out the service entrance."*Brdshtt— I can’t believe you would be so environmentally negligent! We all must carefully smooth out the wrapping paper, carefully remove the bows (best to tape them on so they can be removed more easily), so they can be re-used NEXT year. Cut off the pretty part of cards to use either as decorations or to send to hungry children for craft projects (really— I get letters asking me to do this, plus a monetary donation.)*P.S. I made a Wellington Orange cake for dessert rather than pies— huge cake with lots left over— guess I’d better go back to pies next year.BTW- Per leftovers— turkey tastes much better in mid-January. Freeze it today to serve when YOU are no longer stuffed.

Wikipedia says that the coldest month in Kiama, Australia, is July, and the average temperature in that coldest month is a high of 62.4 degrees F and a low of 47.3 degrees F. So Kiama is never really cold. I suspect neither Pitt nor Kiama ever get snow, so the snow globe is a rather curious choice of a gift.

====== it’s her way of giving the message that like those two elements, they (cue me shuddering) somehow should “belong together”…

=======Well, maybe, but I think you might be attributing a more profound philosophy to something that was possibly just a more light-hearted effort to show Quill that he had two ‘homes’ now….

However y’all want to nitpick this to death… ^Since it was quiet here, today, it seemed like a good time to “exercise” the old “minutia machine”a bit, and all… – It’s sometimes nice to go out for a stroll and not know which way you want to walk…. or to take a road trip without planning it out, and just see where the road takes you….taking stock of everything there is to encounter….– Long as you know how to “get back home”, and as long as you keep a map, just in case….

Plus, when you start getting into things that eventually lead into things having to do with Meteorology, Astronomy and the like, well, details are a part of that…. like I was saying: As long as you know how to bring it back home….

Luann and Quill are maturing – ever so slowly….ike our nation…ever so slowly. The “left” leads, the right has to follow….over and over.. Spending U.S. right into bankrupcy!!!(cough, cough -awwwwkk) maybe that’s what’s making me & my brethren so sick).Of course, the turkey COULD have been our national bird – if Ben Franklin had HIS way. Maybe the turkey really IS our national bird.
