Holly believes in Santa? Extortion in the cause of being treated kindly by an older sibling? It makes for a good comic though…

Alix and Caulfield have got to be the most creative and dangerous-to-cross kids in comicland.

I hope Alix realizes that Santa doesn’t like tattle-tales, especially ones who do it for extortion reasons.

Don’t see many people licking stamps these days. Most are self-adhesive

I don’t think it’s extortion so much as a child telling Santa what’s going on, and what he might be able to do about it. Not tattling, either. Just saying, “Here’s the deal, Santa. Can you make it right?”

Oh, and to Alix, 1+1 still equals 2. So, in her mind, if Holly is being nice to her 25% of the time, then she’s good 25% of the time which = 25% of the presents because 100% good = 100% presents.

Not that Alix is always the good child, but it’s Alix and Holly here.

1 – If I were Joan my better idea would be not to put the lights up , but DH would refuse to listen.

2 – I am Jewish, DH is Catholic. One should not treat Chanukah as “Jewish Christmas”. They are two separate holidays. Menorah for Chanukah. Tree and lights for Christmas. Chanukah bushes are sacreligous and should not be done. Do you have Easter eggs on your sedar plate?
