Well there goes about 40% of the people Barry said will get a delay before his big lie becomes reality.Btw……sadly the 25 million who are being cancelled are just the tip of the iceberg.Wait until next year when companies start notifying ove 170 Million employees that they can’t keep their health insurance. You think that 10% increase this year hurts! next year you will be lucky if it’s not double.Hope y’all have an extra 4-6 hundred bucks to blow each month!

Well that’s a misleading illustration. If his plan covered everything like the drawing shows, than the insurance company is arbitrarily canceling his policy.

“Haven’t you noticed?Obama and all the other usual Democrat suspects have stopped calling it Obamacare and started calling it the Affordable Care Act.”Probably because Affordable Care Act is its real name.

His plan was canceled because it covered about as much as a butt-floss bikini. Thank you very much, Lisa, for not depicting his gown according to how little his plan actually covered. It wouldn’t have been pretty.

I know that you libs will cry and foam at the mouth saying things like he isn’t American for paying for others because they have pre-existing conditions or that somehow males need abortion and birth coverage. What’s funny, is that you think insurance companies issue “abortion and birth coverage” to men. If your son’s gamble on going without insurance goes wrong, who would pay for it?

The toon has it backward. If his plan is cancelled, it’s because it covered too little. The new plans require a lot more coverage.

A $12,000 deductible? Are you serious? That’s a combination of a joke and an outrage. Gosh, my deductible here in Ontario is exactly $0.00.

The concept is very strange to a Canadian. I know about deductibles because the insurance we have for our dog has a $50.00 deductible. That is, the first $50.00 we have to pay ourselves, then the insurance kicks in. So if church is right, then the “bronze” plan he’s talking about would require the insured person to pay the first $12,000, and only after that would the insurance kick in. As I said, a combination of a joke and an outrage.

It’s called a “deduction without representation”. Americans love it.

If a person with a “bronze” plan goes to the hospital but can’t afford the $12,000 deductible, who’s going to pay for that?First off, where do you get a $12,000 deductible? Most Bronze plans have about a $3,000 deductible & a $6,250 cap on out of pocket costs. If Debt Free’s son, World B., falls off his skateboard & breaks his arm, the bill could easily hit $20,000. http://dineane.hubpages.com/hub/My-20-000-Plus-Broken-Arm-An-UpdateWhatever is unpaid, is paid by higher costs hospital costs. We both know there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.Whether Debt takes my words at face value or not, I sincerely hope his son is fine during his insurance gap. My issue is that our health care system clearly has serious problems that need to be fixed. If nothing else, Obamacare is shaking up the industry.

Debt Free said nothing about is son having a family. I suspect it would be a much bigger deal if he had to bring kids along on his uninsured adventure. The Slafters are eligible for a subsidy unless they are clearing 6 figures The article doesn’t actually get into a comparison of what their previous policy covered. To put your argument in a nutshell, you are saying a single person making $40,000 a year or more (or a family making $100,000 a year) will never pay a $6,000 (or $12,000) deductible on a hospital bill. That’s nonsense. It would put stress on their finances & they would probably need time to pay off the bill. Without insurance, they could be forced into bankruptcy. Medical bills cause 62% of bankruptcies. If the premium structure under Obamacare needs to be tweaked, let’s do it. The Republicans in Congress could have been fighting over this, but they chose otherwise.Fixing Obamacare is in the GOP’s best interest. If the ACA can’t be made to work, Single Payer is a certainty. Healthcare costs will gobble up our GDP if we go back to the status quo. No other country spends anywhere near as much as we do on healthcare, yet manage to cover almost all their citizens.
