This isn’t the Doonesbury brother I remember. What ever happened to the one from the ’80s, the punk-rocker-turned-condom-salesman? Why did Trudeau drop him?

Mike’s younger brother was Ben, who, when he went punk, started calling himself Sal (short for Saliva iirc).

The last I remember of him was years ago when he sold contraceptives under the alias Dr. Whoppee, but it’s clearly the same guy.

I remember the Christmas my Mother went to jail for assault, my Father to the hospital as the victim, and my brother and I temporarily to my Great Aunt’s house. Got to ride in a police paddy wagon! Ho Ho Ho. Can you say “dysfunctional family”? I knew you could.

Children shouldn’t be working, the parents should earn enough to raise the child. Thankfully, we have laws in this country against employing children. Sadly, we don’t have laws against American companies exporting jobs overseas. Opening China was Nixon’s revenge, it is too bad that he did not live to see it.
