I think about a lot of places affected by severe storms, and the many more to come. Realist, not alarmist, and the alarms have been going off for over two decades.

Bigger, stronger, storms, like tornadoes and “tropical storms”, Atlantic or Pacific, have change the “storm season” in the last few decades. Note major storms are now occurring in February (early) and November(late) in the Northern Hemisphere. This IS a result of changing ocean conditions (not just temperatures), and thus atmospheric conditions as well.

“Weather” patterns HAVE changed, as in three drought periods in the last 6,000 years that lasted some 500 years in the Pacific Northwest. NOTE: “drought”, not temperature changes, is the key identifier in these “events”.

Changes have been dramatic since the industrial revolution, and from the 1950’s to today, in Europe, changes in the laws, HAVE altered the impacts and direction of those changes. London is warmer, and no longer has “killer smog” because coal use has changed. North Africa and the Mediterranean area warmed, and dried, because HUMANS cut down the forests, and overgrazed the land, it isn’t all just about CO2 either.
