Umm… You all do know that Toronto has long been known as “Hogtown?” These days, it’s a beautiful, wonderful city, one of the most cosmopolitan in the world. The town does not deserve that pig.

Bloomberg Businessweek has done a moderately long article on how Rob Ford happened to Toronto. http://tinyurl.com/n35ktkw The article describes Ford as “…Ted Cruz in a fat suit” and compares him to Hugo Chavez as well as Silvio Berlusconi and his “bunga bunga” parties. Charming. The article is a good read.

An addict is an addict no matter what the addiction. Mr. Ford has the appearance of one with many addictions. From food to drugs to alcohol, Mr. Ford gives us the chance to determine the difference between the psychopath and the sociopath. A psychopath, to my understanding, does wrong but does not know it is wrong. The sociopath does wrong, but does not care.Mr. Ford seems the former. He does not seem to realize that by most standards, the use of drugs and alcohol while serving the public is considered to be wrong, even illegal. He sincerely seems to feel an apology is sufficient, he is even said to have found depictions of his behavior on US TV to be flattering.I hope he gets help before his behaviors do him irreversible harm.Respectfully,C.

seriously, toronto….crackhead mayor. surprised that CPS hasn’t banned him from his home. his wife drinks to forget the abuse. tackles a councilwoman on the city council floor. and, all those people who are part of ford nation should be ashamed of supporting this crackhead. he is even bad luck for their football team. plus, the maple leafs suck. btw, he kept some taxes and fees low/repeal, but increased other taxes and fees. also, he isn’t really a working class, he inherited his fortune by his daddy’s labeling business.

He’s getting a lot of press coverage over here as well. Initially I thought they were covering Rush Limbaugh but when I turned my TV’s sound up, I discovered the Ford brothers were being interviewed by the BBC.

They and their policies/views were described by the BBC as Canadian “Tea Party types”.

    They are over there. Beware!

The really weird part is that the U.S. has discovered Canada. Coverage every day on every cable channel, the MSM, the talk shows. We were hoping we would be noticed for our superior health care system and longer life expectancy; that in the last fifteen years we’ve had more balanced budgets than deficits and on target for a surplus in 2015-16; that we’re wealthier on a median per capita basis adjusted for debt; that we’re the best country for entrepreneurs with lower corporate tax rates; that our workers are the most satisfied with their job (1st out of 7 countries studied); that we’re one of the happiest peoples in the world; that our students rank higher in reading, maths, and science; that we have more sex on a weekly basis and do it longer (join the dots); that we travel more and socialize more; that we aren’t obsessed with guns and have not had a mass shooting lately. .But no, what titillates and grabs the attention of the American media? An off the track mayor who likes cats – something about having enough pussy at home.
