Another teddy bear fulfills it’s purpose.

In the next panel Garfield starts having withdrawal symptoms and rips the bear from Jon’s hands.

Nancy’s teddy bear is the same way.

This is one of the nicest strips when it comes to Garfield. Lending his Pooky to cheer Jon up. ;)

I thought Pooky is a one cat only teddy bear!

Jon supposely has Liz. Maybe he needs to grow a pair!

You beat me to it. I was just shocked that Garfield cared enough about Jon to do that.

Since certainly Garfield can’t provide love. Only to himself.

according to another strip a long time ago, Jon, Odie, and Garfield all have a Pookey looking teddy bear; this kinda happened to me in real life, was way down when my brother in law mentioned that someone would always love me, his dog (and she really does too)

No hug from Garfield, but quite an compassionate cat he is.
