If Americans went ballistic every time a rocket blew up on the launch pad, there would be no successful man on the moon. What happened to that “can do” spirit?
Ansonia, your argument makes no sense. The GOP has no solution other than “if you’re not insured, there’s always the emergency room.” And Obamacare has made NOTHING worse. The insurance companies are dropping their noncompliant plans for sound business reasons, it’s not because of the ACA (which already has a grandfather clause). Are you really advocating that insurers HAVE to keep offering bad plans? Now that actually WOULD be a government take over of health care.
only problem is that bunches of people can’t even afford the“trash” plans, or couldn’t get insurance because of some insurance-mandated “pre-existing condition”.
“The fix is single payer.”.So your preferred solution is to let the incompetent, lethargic, costly, inept, and generally incapable government just take over the whole system?! They can’t get Obamacare to work! Medicare and Medicade are substandard programs with extremely limited access to care due to miserly rates of payout for services. The VA, PHS, military health system are all buried under crushing patient loads with decreasing ability to provide services simply because they are cost ineffective. And, yet you want the government to run everybody’s health care?! Are you friggin’ insane?!I’d think ANYBODY would recognize from Obamacare the solution to health care costs does not lie with the government or a solution from government.
“…… We had the ‘can do’ spirit. It got taken away by the ‘can tax healthcare’ law…..”.I presume Obamacare is also responsible for global warming, the heartbreak of psoriasis, and dandruff.
Fixing things should be a long and expensive process. If it’s possible to just make it work without spending a lot of money and holding a lot of hearings, that’s a bad thing.
