You’ll still have one problem though: Neither side can put up a candidate worth voting for because both sides are controlled by their fringe element. All of our recent elections have come down to the question ‘Which one do I think will do the least damage?’. Solve that question first and then worry about voter competence
Part of me says ‘About time’. And the rest of me thinks, ‘What if they’re just as awful’. At this point, I don’t care about the party. I just want a candidate who I think might take responsibility for their actions. Not be an economic whiz or a great diplomat. Just that they would be a grown @$$ adult. Bet I don’t get my wish.

I never thought I could dislike somebody more than I disliked Bush Sr, Clinton, and Bush Jr but Obama has shown me the way.
