Tesla paid back the grant money. The fires were the result of accidents on the road, sure glad no Pintos, or Cadillac limos (one recently hit road debris and went up in flames jus like that last Tesla) ever went up in flames in wrecks. BTW: the same CEO at Tesla is also providing commercial “delivery service” to the International Space Station, and planning to provide civilian space travel (well, the edge of space).
