If your policy complies with the law, or removes you from the current one not in compliance, to replace it with one that DOES comply, not a problem. But the “conservative” or TEA argument, doesn’t consider this in their “argument”.
^^Then why do about 123 people per day (45,000 per year) die of treatable conditions because they are unable to afford health care . (Harvard Medical School)
Not a lie unless Harvard is lying. You could quibble about the actual number, but it is a big number. .The ER does not treat many health issues that requires regular treatment – chemotherapy for cancer as an example..Is the ER and skipping out on the bill the secret Republican health care plan? Hardly a plan worthy of a civilized nation!
^^There will always be a few who procrastinate for no good reason. But the number rises exponentially when they know they will be faced with a bill for tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars they cannot afford. One more reason for universal affordable health care. Caught early the treatment might be relatively low. Procrastinate and the treatment becomes much more invasive and costly. Stage 1 vs stage 4 cancer for example.
coraryan: Don’t know where you are getting your “facts,” but you are not correct. People in Canada and England are much happier with their health care than are most Americans, prior to Obamacare.
