Your thinking Republicans are the ones who mutilated Obamacare into what it is, rather than a decent single payer system where my employer no longer makes healthcare decisions for me.
If they lost their insurance, it was because the insurance company refused to meet minimum standards, like lifetime caps, and probably would have let their client die in bankruptcy, anyway.
I think a few, more carefully chosen words would have been better: the ACA will not force you to give up your plan and the ACA will not stop insurance companies from canceling plans, even yours.
