My grandma used to cut the crusts off for me, too…

Is later in life when people can appreciate bitter tastes in food.

And why do they call them grilled cheese sandwiches, anyway? They should be called gridled sándwiches. Maybe a panini could be called a grilled sándwich, but not so sure.

It would never have occurred to me to ask to have the crusts removed from my sandwiches, but I did always refuse to eat the heels. I wanted “bread on both sides” so the heels went to the chickens.

If Adam heard, “Ponygirl needs food,” he’d take it as a Gauntlet reference.

Never understood not wanting to eat the crusts nor the heels. Never had difficultly chewing them either, at least not that I can remember. In fact, I actually liked eating those parts. But to each one’s own.
