Shut up. We paid good money for all this, and you’re going into the hole.

Someone forgot to do the Wake…old traditions are there for a reason.

it really depends what you consider overcrowded, I did the math once and the entire planets population could easily fit in one western state and everyone would still have a 3 foot square to them…now if you go a step further you could fit the entire planets population in the USA alone and everyone still have square miles of space.

Problem is food production and distribution in my opinion, not over crowded. The US used to produce far more food than it could consume but it wasn’t profitable enough, too many people want it free so farmers are going out of business, and we are no longer the bread basket of the world.

Angelfiredragon is right; mathematically, overpopulation is unlikely, at least anytime soon. The following link explains it nicely: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsAracLBCxI&feature=related

Jon Hra: Room isn’t the problem. We have a very small part that can grow food and urban sprawl is eating up much of that. Carrying capacity is the significant figure. For the US, it is 150 million, for the world 3.5 billion. We have definitely doubled that in both figures. We are surviving by stealing from the future.

I had a roommate who knew a guy who drank to extreme excess. So much so that he woke up three separate times in a morgue.

Just imagine what his parents would be like: “I’m sorry to have to tell you your son has died.”

“Oh, he does that all the time. Just wait a few hours, and he’ll be fine…….”
