Just interesting that the same folks who claim he can’t write a speech, or a book, personally wrote and memorized the entire 900+ page bill that passed through a committee of Democrats, AND REPUBLICANS before it was voted on in the House, AND Senate, and became law.
We can discuss the “art” or the cartoon’s theme, or even the cartoonist. We discussing whether or not recycling the same cartoon with a different text can be considered “artful” or “artless”. The text is meaningless to me as I’m not in the US, so I’ve chosen to discuss the merits of the “art”.A great many might suggest both the art and theme is base. You can counter it if you prefer, I’d be interested to know your opinion.Or you can complain about the critics.
I’m very interested in cartoon art. I appreciate people who can draw well. I look at a lot of cartoons and comics, and I have something of a collection — going back to Windsor McKay. I like Steinberg, Barsotti, Gourmelin (a great French cartoonist) and so on. I don’t see any reason why I can’t discuss the art. I also look at some (not very many) of the funny comics. Of the political cartoonists, I like several of the liberal cartoonists, but in addition, I think Lisa Benson is good, as is Ramirez, thought I usually don’t agree with their positions. I also post extensively about the politics — probably more than most people want to hear. I’ve said a lot about the ACA. I am not a fan of the ACA. I believe in a single-payer system, and I’ve said a lot about why.
Well, you’ve got to go back at least to Lyndon Johnson, who lied about the Gulf of Tonkin incident. And of course Nixon was the all-time champion. Clinton was shameless, but really he wasn’t lying about anything that mattered very much, and I don’t think you can say he got away with it or that it was accepted. And of course Bush was at the least misleading in the run-up to the War in Iraq. As I see it, lying is quite bipartisan.

Not true. Also, this is the same cartoon with a different bumper sticker. Can’t even take time to draw a new cartoon, talk about lazy.
