Yes, there’s even a “grandfather” clause in the law so that companies that keep their plans the same as they were when the law passed can keep offering them to people who have them, even if they don’t meet the requirements of the ACA. The problem is not the ACA, it’s that the companies are deciding to cancel those plans. It’s a business, not a government, decision.
It is the insurance companies cancelling poor coverage plans that don’t meet standards and are not competetive, and replacing them with superior plans that will be more in demand, so we are told. That is the way the system is supposed to work, so why blame Obama for a system that is working.
“……These ‘new and improved’ plans will cause additional hardship upon ones who can not afford the increased premiums….”.Even if you could keep the inferior plan, what is the point of keeping an insurance plan that doesn’t adequately cover you when you need it? Maybe cheap in nominal dollars, but extremely expensive when you need it.

Wouldn’t know… I’m not a Republican. I have been an independent long before Independents became the majority party in the US.

Unless the fatcats cancel it simply to help tank a law that will stop them from ripping you off!
