RE: Veterans’ day… Thanks to all of our brave men and their sacrifices. Especially, thank you DAD (WWII- Atlantic theater and North Africa USN), and Thank you SON (Afghanistan – The Late Unpleasantness…U.S. Army-Combat MP). I’m proud of both of you for your service to our nation.

And Canada renamed it Remembrance Day.

Six, The War To End All Wars…..Can’t believe we ever even thought that…..It in itself was one of the most senseless wars in history…To this day, no one really knows what it was all about…..But, 11,11,11…..

The relationship became imaginary when Victoria moved to Georgia. I hate to sound sexist, but my observation is that it’s one thing when a man moves; another when a woman moves.

Hitler and Stalin killed many, but not “hundreds of millions”. A million is 1000 × 1000. That in it self is a heck of a lot of people, multiply that by 100 and that is a lot more. WWII killed about 60 million, Hitler is responsible for much of them. Stalin killed 20-60 million. So, collectively, Hitler, Hirohito, and Stalin killed about 100 million people.

. . . and now Bashad al-Assad is slaughtering his own people en masse via starvation and whatever other means he can find.

Joe should have punched Bob’s lights out in that last panel.

ypoons and route66, yes WWII had to be fought. It truly was a fight for the freedom of the whole damn world……I can’t believe our parents had anything left in them afterwards to stand up to the Soviet Union and China…..But they did…..and then went to the moon.to boot……..

If Joe brings the kids ,Victoria and Danae will drive Joe insane!

Wasn’t the reason for the first war the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand? the history books tell it that way.
