CEOs, like the President, are responsible for the direction being set and the quality of his/her staff.

@theTrustedMechanic – You show an exceptionally poor understanding of how businesses work. The CEO or President of a publically traded company is held accountable for the performance of their corporation by the Board of Directors who are voted into their position by the shareholders.

If the company is not performing as well as the shareholder think it should then the CEO is fired and a new CEO is put in that is expected to make the performance better.

Officers of a company can he held liable and accountable for illegal activities of their company and can and will go to jail if their company committs crimes.

I invest in publically traded companies all the time and I expect the CEO to hold himself accountable for the activities of his company or I take my capital elsewhere.

I expect the President to Grow Up and recognize that he is responsible for the performance of the Governement and CERTAINLY for the performance of the executive branch.
