They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morningWe will remember them.

You would think we were surrounded by huge armies ravening for American blood with comments like we see in this strip. When was the last time Switzerland was in a war? Yet, they still have holidays.

I’ll bet no one under 40 gives a big rats ass, unless they have been in the military.

OldestandWisest: And better be able to account for all twenty rounds when he appears at the armory for his weekly target practice.

Give disabled veterans all the treatment they need – and stop disabling more.

How you and many other soldiers were treated is shameful. I consider it to be a dark mark on the moral soul of our country. I was a child and remember hearing how the returning soldiers were being treated and have never understood it. As if any of you wanted to be there. I want to say THANK YOU SIR and Thank You to all the others who sacrificed so much for this country.

I think a lot of us were pleased when the Vietman vets were ‘offically’ made part of our services. Its been that way for the last decade or so. Vietman was for many of us the first war we saw every night on the news. So Thank You.

Back then the guys had to go because of the draft. Graduate from high school and look to go to Viet Nam. My husband said when he came home on leave, he would take off his uniform before anyone could see him. The stories he told gave me nightmares. LAND OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE.
