I first saw the Hannity clip on “All In with Chris Hayes.” All three couples were liars.Chris Matthews had the same reporter and the same clip on his show and he made a mess of getting the point across.
Although I can understand the idea that Republicans do not approve of some things that Democrats do, and I have no heartburn with them doing what their constituents want them to do, there is a right way and a wrong way to do this. Also, many of them say the right words about smaller government and fiscal responsibility, and then vote totally opposite (see Homeland Security, continued “Emergency” (= off the books) spending on wars which will never accomplish their alleged goals, spending on military projects which the Pentagon does not want.
As far as the right way: introduce meaningful practical legislation. The wrong way: constantly complain about the other side, vote against anything the other side proposes, regardless of value, and trying to change law by playing games with funding.
If the elephants would do what they say they want to do, they would find themselves viewed differently. Their actions justify the condemnation. This is not to say Democrats are much better, as they are not. But Republicans have seemed to have refined the wrong way to govern, and seem surprised when taken to task for it.
“How long? Ever since that miscreant Obama took office and started destroying our country, our Constitution, and our American way of life!”What you perceive as being destroyed, never existed.
Blah, blah, blah. You’ve only repeated cheap partisan talking points we’ve seen on this board over and over. You complain that so called liberals blame the Bush Administration for “everything,” but that’s also what the so called conservatives did to Clinton during the Bush Administration.I agree very little with this administration, but I very much disagree that Republicans are as you say “standing up for what’s right.” They’re standing up for the best interest of their donors, just as the Democrats do.

For the first 4 years it was all Bush’s fault, now Barry supporters just blame Republicans for all their failures.

Just drink the Kool Aid; say a prayer to Obama and everything will be much better as long as you don’t think.
